The story of you and me
started off fast and complicating
I often question myself
"Are we on the right track?"

But now that we are onto a journey
towards the common direction
The scream in my heart
"Is there happy ever after?"

Being loved and loving someone
is equally taxing
Somehow, someday, you'll get to try the opposite
there is no free meal in this world.

At times, it's not about saying
not about coaxing,
neither was it about painting the perfect picture
It's about doing it, meaning it and realising it.

Knowing is the key to my heart
It's not just about knowing that,
it's about knowing why
